Submitting a Law Enforcement Request
StudentUK accepts requests only from verified law enforcement agencies or other authorised public authorities acting within their legal powers. Requests should relate specifically to activity that has taken place on the StudentUK platform.

Information to Include
To help us process your request as efficiently as possible, please include:
- Full name of the requesting officer.
- Law enforcement agency or organisation.
- Official email address.
- Reference or case number (if applicable).
- A clear description of the incident.
- Date and approximate time of the incident.
- Username or profile involved.
- Any relevant URLs or supporting information.
Providing complete information allows us to review requests more efficiently.
Response Times
Every request is reviewed individually. Response times depend on the nature and urgency of the request, although we aim to respond as quickly as reasonably possible. Urgent matters involving an immediate risk to life or safety should be clearly identified within your request.

If you’re a StudentUK member and need to report inappropriate behaviour, harassment or another issue within the community, please use our reporting tools or contact the StudentUK support team. If you believe a crime has occurred or someone is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement agency or emergency services immediately.
